National Average Down Payment

With home prices and interest rates rising, this common misconception has come up a lot lately. "The most damaging down payment myth—since it stops the home-buying process before it can start—is the belief that 20% is necessary."

On average, first-time buyers only put 7% down on home purchases. That's far less than the 20% many people believe is necessary.

That means your down payment and your home purchase may be in closer reach than you realize. Therefore, the longer you hold off for that down payment, the further away your home-buying goals could be getting away from you.

If you're on the fence, please reach out and let me connect you with one of my great and creative lender partners. Then, let's make a plan to get your goals within reach.

Also, for buyers not wanting to wait to forgive credit. I partner with lenders who have some very credit forgiving loans to get you into a home today.
