Homestead Exemption

This is your annual homestead exemption reminder! If you purchased a home in the past year and it is your primary residence, update your driver's license and apply for homestead exemption. Also, for Dallas County folks, DCAD is back online, but only in a limited capacity. However, you can complete the "Application for Residence Homestead Exemption" on the Texas Comptroller's website and mail it as a workaround.
